Powerful Use of The Words

The Powerful Use of the Words

We all know what the word is for us. If you read John 1: 1- 2 “in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God. He was with the God in the beginning “ Hebrews 4: 12 says “for the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and morrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart “ also Ephesians 6:17 says “take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God “.

The word of God has authority there and behind every authority there is a power. The Bible says in 2nd Timothy 3: 16 – 17 “All scripture which is the word of God, is inspired by God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be completed thoroughly equipped for every good work. “

Now that we have a notions about the word of God and it’s power, move on to see how can we use it powerfully.

Open with me the book of James 5:16 “ confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. “

First, the power depends on our accountability to the lord. Christians are no more accountable to God. They do all ever they want somehow. Even one on one with God is difficult to confess their trespasses. If they do, they are unable to forgive others who had offense them. It becomes so difficult to receive mercy from the Lord. Forgiveness opens doors to receive power.

Second, live a godly life. As accountability, the holiness life is important for Christian to be connected to the lord Isaiah chapter six verse eight says “ also, I heard the voice of the Lord saying whom shall I send, who will go for us? Then I said : “ Here I am! Send me. “ The everyday godly life will make you to be ready for God to use. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 2nd Timothy 2: 21.

Finally, prayer of a righteous man avails much.

What the prayers of the righteous do?

  • They bring him near to God Hebrews 7: 25
  • They open the door to a spirit filled life Luke 11: 13
  • They bring him the power for the ministry acts 1: 8
  • They build him up spiritually Jude 20
  • They give him insight into Christ’s provision for him. Ephesians 1: 16-17
  • They help him overcome Satan. Daniel 10: 12-13
  • They clarify God’s will for him psalms 32: 6-8
  • They bring him grace, mercy and peace. Philippians 4: 6-7
  • They bring him wisdom, revelation and knowledge of Christ. Ephesians 1: 16-17
  • They bring him into fellowship with God. John 7: 37.

Someone may ask you who can use the word powerfully?

That can be everyone who knows it .

Another question can be why’s the one who knows it?

It’s the one who knows the word because the knowledge of the word

  • Makes him wise into salvation
  • Keeps him from sin
  • Results in successful living
  • Produces spiritual growth.

Be accountable to God, live a godly life and be a faithful man of prayer  will make you powerful user of the word. Also, you need to know the word meditate it and use it powerfully.
